Rilasciato Internet Explorer 8

Microsoft ha rilasciato Internet Explorer 8, il nuovo browser di casa Microsoft che rimpiazza del tutto IE7 e cerca di arginare l'avanzata degli altri browser concorrenti.

Tra le features più importanti di Internet Explorer si segnalano tutte quelle relativi alla privacy e alla sicurezza e dunque i filtri per il "cross site scripting" e i blocchi di default per i siti Web ritenuti insicuri.

Redmond sostiene che IE8 è il browser più veloce sulla piazza, l'unico in grado di caricare in maniera veloce e corretta 12 dei 25 principali siti Internet classificati da ComScore.

E mentre Microsoft lancia Internet Explorer 8, Firefox si arresta e Mozilla annuncia che la versione 3.5 del browser open source uscirà fra qualche tempo dal momento che non è ancora stato sistemato del tutto il motore javascript di supporto.

Per quanto riguarda i browser, Apple ha da poco lanciato la beta di Safari 4 e Google ha aggiornato la beta di Chrome.

Lo scopo è bloccare l'avanzata di Internet Explorer che ad oggi detiene una quota di mercato pari al 72,2% e che potrebbe crescere ancora proprio a seguito del varo della versione 8.
